T3 Beijing Capital International A, with a floor area of over 900,000 square meters, has added 99 aircraft stands. A new runway, 3,800 meters long and 60 meters wide, has been built, allowing the world's largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, to take off and land smoothly. In addition, a new northern cargo area has been constructed, along with corresponding on-site transportation systems and facilities such as water supply, power supply, gas supply, and airline bases.

The main building of Terminal 3 (T3) of Beijing Capital International Airport was designed by the Dutch Airport Consultants (NACO) and the British Norman Foster + Partners. The Beijing Institute of Architectural Design was responsible for design management and construction drawing design, while the Civil Aviation Airport (Chengdu) Electronic Engineering Design Institute was in charge of the special design of weak current and information systems.
