The Wuxi Rail Transit is the rail transit system of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, constructed and operated by Wuxi Metro Group Co., Ltd. The Wuxi Rail Transit Line 1, which began trial operation on July 1, 2014, is 29.42 kilometers long with 24 stations. Wuxi became the fourth non-provincial capital city under provincial jurisdiction to independently own a metro after Shenzhen, Suzhou and Ningbo.
