Zhenjiang Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhenjiang Shipyard") is the parent company of Zhenjiang Shipyard Group in Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was Zhenjiang Shipyard of Jiangsu Province, which was first established on May 25, 1951. It is the first shipbuilding enterprise in Jiangsu Province and also the first shipbuilding high-tech enterprise recognized after re-certification. The enterprise is a key backbone enterprise of the provincial key industrial chain base in Jiangsu Province, and one of the first batch of shipbuilding enterprises in China that meet the "Shipbuilding Industry Normative Conditions" announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is also a key enterprise in the strategic emerging industries under the National Development and Reform Commission.

The enterprise covers an area of nearly 500,000 square meters, with one 80,000-ton, one 20,000-ton, and one 5,000-ton slipway, as well as one 80,000-ton dry dock. The maximum lifting capacity of the slipways is 700 tons. It has 1,800 meters of Yangtze River shoreline, a 1,200-meter-long fixed and quay-type outfitting wharf, and the maximum lifting capacity of the wharf is 30 tons. It has 100,000 square meters of indoor workshops and over 1,300 sets of various advanced production and processing equipment. It is a ship assembly plant laid out in accordance with modern shipbuilding models, operating in an integrated manner of hull, outfitting, and painting, as well as production, design, and management. It has become a well-known specialized manufacturer of special engineering ships at home and abroad.
